The Awards have been given….

“Atom Films Star Wars Fan Film Awards”:http://www.atomfilms.com/af/spotlight/collections/starwars/?mid=221022267 have been issued. Makes you want more time in the day, doesn’t it? ;-) I am really impressed with what these folks can do - we have the talents lurking about, don’t we? It’s just that these talents (and you know who you are) have very little time and less money to throw at such projects. Perhaps one day!

Whoo-Hoo!

Yesterday I played some “scratchies”, as I call them, and I won $100!!! I immediately headed to Borders and treated myself to some things! Yay me! I still have some left over - but am undecided on what to treat myself to next. Hmmmm…..I’m sure you’ll all have suggestions.

She’s BAAAACKKK!

One of my favorite blogs, Suburban Blight, is back on the air. I’m so happy - I missed her. ^_^ I miss Sgt. Hook, too. I hope he starts posting again - he’s one hell ofa guy! Well, on to it: Kelley posted this, which I think is funny as hell. I don’t even care if it’s real or ’shopped. If a picture is supposed to be worth a thousand words - that’s a whole Steve Martin movie! Thanks, Kelley!

In light of the opening in May…

I thought I’d share these little gems with you. I’m sorry to say that they’re in Windows Media format. If you get the opportunity to convert them to … say … Quicktime, let me know. I have also been reading about the Mark Hamill Muppets appearance. I guess I’ll have to check out NetFlix. After all, I saw it - but I don’t remember that much about it.

AUGH

All blog spammers should be slid naked across a gym’s basketball court, sprayed with salt solution, and hung from their genitals! I had to delete 415 comments from those f@!$ers at Texas Hold Em and so on. Bleech! THEN - I had to go back over 2 years and 2 month’s worth of blog entries to make sure that comments and pings were turned off. I can’t wait for the lynchings of spammers to start - I have my torch ready and my pitchfork sharpened!

Where’s PJ?

You might have been asking yourself - Where’s PJ? Is she okay? What’s happened? Why isn’t she posting? Well, the answer is very simple, and comes in two parts: (1) my husband’s crappy job and (2) SPRING! Part 2 means my kids want to be outside a lot - and one of them needs supervision; Part 1 means that when I’m not outside, I’m very very very very very busy inside.

Hopefully AJ’s travels will end next week (at least for a while) and life can return to what passes for normal around here. I will post when I can.

I thought this site was pretty neat…

and I wondered, “Why have I not come across this before?” Ah, well, it’s called “LiveScience”:http://www.livescience.com/ and it has some interesting information. I didn’t find any information on tuna-flavored salesmen or cats having the ability to make Pop-Tarts, however.
