See the article. While setting aside the extreme bitterness in tone - the theory seems sound. Things are going to fall apart over there - and fast.

Can you believe the gall?

The U.N. wants us to pay for the renovations to the U.N. building. Maybe we should agree to handle the whole thing. “Well, everyone out; we’re going to renovate.” Six months later. “Nope, sorry, you’ll have to keep meeting in that hotel in Angola. See, with all the humanitarian aid we’re giving, and all the battles we’re fighting for everyone, well, we haven’t had the funds to finish the job. What? Oh, what have we paid for so far? Well, we put up this cool fence and sign that says ‘Work in Progress’; then we paid for the security guards. We’ll let you know when it’s done.” (Spokeman sniggers behind hand to others “I told them we’d have it done ‘real soon now.’)

It’s gotten started…

Well, the battle is underway, and the dissenters are screeching and wailing. To them I have a quote to share:

World’s Upheavel

Sorry I haven’t been contributing much here. Keeping up with world events and household events has eaten my time. *sigh* Someday I will have so much here - it will take you days to digest it all! That is all - you may return to your regular daily routine.
