We’re back

Due to some rather odd DNS delegation issues and a flatlined DNS server we were off the air for a little bit… and so were a number of domains that rely upon our DNS.

My apologies for the outage; we’ll be diversifying our DNS to avoid this in the future.

Cliff wasn’t joking.

Actually, having met Muncie’s finest, this can only be an improvement.

What I did today

  • Got up late
  • Noted that the hills are missing – must be foggy out there
  • Ate breakfast with my family
  • Kissed my wife goodbye as she went to her NanoWriMo write-in
  • Played with my boys
  • Did a load of towels
  • Put away the clean dishes
  • Played some more with the boys, this time a Nerf-gun fight. 2 vs. 1, so I lost.
  • Backed up my laptop and upgraded it with the latest patches
  • Put together a new shelving unit
  • Did another load of towels
  • Located an old friend that I hope will call me back
  • Helped Phil with his new web pages
  • Fed the cat
  • Played with my guitar
  • (Tried to) clean one of the shotguns
  • Watched some Dr. Who
  • Went through some old VHS tapes. Wow, I used to watch a lot of crap… and commercials have not gotten more intelligent.

All in all, a very good day

With a small “L”

Hallelujah.

It’s back

Noticeably absent during the last election was 350 pounds of blowhard propaganda documentary maker.

Well, he has appeared with a new “pledge” in the L.A. Times.

If the Democrats want to lose control of Congress in two years then they couldn’t do better than to allow Michael Moore to become their poster child (again). Apparently Michael is under the mistaken impression that the new members of Congress were elected to fulfill his unrealistic fantasies. Considering the large number of them that get “A” or “B” ratings from the NRA and the GOA, I don’t think he’ll have much chance of seeing #9 implemented.

Like a stopped clock, he is right about #8. And he’d better educate the rest of the Wingnut branch of the Democrat party about #1, because they don’t seem to be aware of it.

Enjoy.
