We went to see Pixar’s¹ “Cars” on Saturday with our friend Steve.

The reviews were so-so… but the movie was wonderful!

I’m guessing that they’ve become so used to Pixar hitting home runs that they simply yawn at a grand slam now. “Oh, look, another home run.”

You should really go see it. The rendering is amazing, and can only really be appreciated on the big screen.

[1] I refuse to call them “Disney/Pixar”. As far as I’m concerned, Pixar made this movie. All Disney does now is run rudely staffed theme parks and try to market the likenesses of characters that can best be described as “over”. Oh, and make lame attempts at other movies.
